The meals were great! We were blown away by the quality-big portions of home-cooked delights like breakfast fruit salad and excellent bacon! On top of that, the staff were pure gems, treating us like family. It seemed like visiting the next-door neighbor who's a culinary whiz.
A cheeky downside was the cheese board-great layout but the cheese portions were a joke! £14 And I got cheese bits smaller than a mouse's ear. Still, that didn't dampen our fab time.

Loved our standard queen room with the bedroom and really comfy bed. Quiet and ideal location to the dog friendly area made it easy to get to key attractions. Also, we were 3 km from Heysham Golf Club.

Noise disturbances from neighboring rooms really impacted sleep quality!!! A lack of clear signage for parking made our arrival quite frustrating. Temperature control in the room left much to be desired.

The Royal offers a comfortable and clean stay with excellent service. The room was spacious, equipped with quality White Company toiletries, and featured a fabulous large walk-in shower. The staff is genuinely friendly and accommodating, particularly during check-in. The highlight was the really good breakfast, with freshly baked items and locally sourced ingredients that exceeded my expectations.
Some noise disturbances from nearby rooms and the car park disrupted sleep.

The royal heysham was great! We loved the staff, breakfast was amazin, and everything was super clean. Alastair the manager was really friendly. The toiletries in the room were nice too, we liked the white company ones. Fantastic service all around, definitely enjoyed our time there.
Only downside was that it got kinda warm in the room, had to open the window. The coffee machine in the room didn't have milk available initially.

Really good attention to detail stood out during our two-night stay. The fan and plentiful wardrobe space added comfort, while the breakfast featured great options, including croissants-the perfect start to the day. Super clean hygiene and inviting staff. It's a shame we didn't discover this place sooner, as everything functioned seamlessly.

We had a lovely two-night stay, enjoying the well-furnished room and the fantastic breakfast with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxing with a good book, while the cozy garden area was a hit with the kids. Just a heads up, we could've used a couple more coat hangers, but it didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment! 😄
